What is quantum-ready encryption and why do I need it?
Quantum computers will break current encryption (RSA, ECC) within 10-15 years. We use NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms (Kyber-1024, Dilithium) that remain secure even against quantum attacks. This protects your data for decades, not just years.
Can you recover my password if I forget it?
No. This is by design. True zero-knowledge encryption means we never have access to your password or encryption keys. We strongly recommend exporting your recovery key during setup and storing it securely.
How does the succession planning work?
You designate beneficiaries and set up heartbeat monitoring (social media activity, biometric check-ins, manual confirmations). If you're inactive for your chosen threshold (e.g., 90 days), we verify through multiple channels, then grant your beneficiaries access to their designated assets using quantum-safe key escrow.
Why Iceland? Why not Switzerland?
Iceland is outside the 14-Eyes surveillance alliance (Switzerland is not). Iceland has strong privacy laws, stable government, and excellent data center infrastructure. It's the ideal jurisdiction for privacy-focused services.
